Forgotten Arsenal

This series of drawings and banner installation touch on the manifestations of territoriality, in particular the hoarding of resources as a means of exerting power.  These drawings began as my way of processing stories in the news about the lack of food security in North Korea, and how the great disparity in material wealth between the North and South koreas is a barrier to reunification.  Bears reference the Korean creation myth.

Exhibited at the 21st Annual Juried Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles, May 8-29th, 2015, and at the Euphrat Museum, Cupertino, CA.
